Walnut oil - This is sourced locally from Granary Oils, Warwickshire. Here walnuts are grown and cold pressed on the farm just a few miles away from where the product is made. It's great to work directly with the farmer. Walnut oil is excellent for nourishing mature skin
Macadamia - organically produced in Italy. Has a high content of plamitic acid which is vital to slow skin's aging process. As it is a fatty oil it also protects skin against elements
Pumpkin seed oil - organically produced in UK. Has a lifting effect on skin
Argan - organically produced in Morocco. Stimulates, protects and regenerates, making skin soft, supple and elastic
Baobab - organically produced in Kenya. Softens and rehydrates skin. Great for tackling wrinkles
Plant extracts – to give skin that extra boost!
Acmella flower extract has a remarkable ability to visibly firm and smooth the skin, so giving it a lifted appearance. It has been hailed by some as botox in a bottle! The extract is 100% natural and extracted from the buds which are harvested by hand so the plant is preserved. It is grown in South Africa by a co-operative of farmers in a bid to develop the local African economy
Rosemary extract is added as an antioxidant to naturally prolong the shelf life of the product. It's organically produced in the UK and often used in food
Vitamins – Antioxidants to promote healthy skin growth and keep lines at bay. The Vitamin E used is natural and extracted from non GM crops. Vitamin A doesn't occur naturally but is derived from plant sources, usually palm oil. We are certain to only use Vitamin A derived from sustainable palm oil according to RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certification
Emollient – (Isoamyl laurate, isoamyl cocoate). This is included as it aids the rapid absorption of oils and makes the product less greasy. It has a silky, luxurious feel on the skin and is made from renewable natural sources such as sugar and coconut. It is Ecocert certified for use in natural and organic cosmetics
Pure Essential oils – Frankincense, Geranium and Patchouli, all of which are organically produced. Chosen to soothe, tone and balance maturing skin. Ecocert is an international organic certification body for sustainable and ecological development
